I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Similarly to last week, we have another integrated weekly plan full of learning activities and opportunities. As we continue to work on the integrated research project, PLEASE feel free to reach out to me with questions!

      • Practice worksheet - 2020 Analysis Activity
      • Work on developing your analysis and effectively integrating sources/quotes as you begin moving towards your essay rough draft.

    • Read - How Journalists Covered the Rise of Mussolini and Hitler from Smithsonian Magazine

      • Optional Prompt: What has been the role of literature or art during this time?  Has the role changed? not changed? why?
  • Thursday, 04/02 - Integrated Research Project
    • (DUE by noon) - Source Evaluation Rough Draft - www.turnitin.com
      • This is your OPCVL charts and Lang annotations directly on sources/texts, just like you did at the end of semester 1 (but with no flipgrid).

Week One (3/23-3/27)

Hi all,
As of Monday, 03/23/20, we'd like to welcome you back to your humanities studies!! We are so happy to be reconnecting with you!! 

In collaboration with our department, grade-level teams, and partner teachers, we put together weekly learning resources/activities plans (see below for week #1) for you. We will post resources/activities once a week during school closures, until further notice. Our intent is to keep those beautiful brains of yours active and to provide opportunities for skills development. 

While we won’t be assigning new work for grades, we will be encouraging work completion for personal growth, peer and teacher feedback, and to help you gain a deeper understanding of content already covered in class.We will be available via email during school hours.
